TS Narvik is a registered charity and although some support is provided via the Royal Navy (primarily uniforms), the unit is required to raise it's own funds through donations and sponsorships. For 2008, the suggested Quarterly donations are £ 30 which helps towards heating, lighting and other running costs such as the unit mini-bus.
Uniforms.
There is an initial deposit of £50.00. Once this deposit is received, the Cadet will be issued with both uniforms which are then exchanged for new uniform as required throughout the Cadet's service. When the Cadet leaves the Unit, £35.00 is returned. The other £15.00 is used to purchase badges during the Cadet's service and pay for dry cleaning when the kit is returned.
- Cadets will need to purchase their own boots or shoes. However, these are normally available from the Unit for a nominal charge.

Junior Sea Cadets
Junior Sea Cadets need to purchase the Sweatshirt and T Shirt (which is approximately £15.00) and supply their own black trousers. A beret will be provided by the Unit for a minimal deposit.
